Beat the heat on a cool bus ride! Oakley Park Museum will be hosting a summer historical homes bus tour in Edgefield and Trenton. The tour will be held on Saturday, July 22nd and will last approximately one hour and 15 minutes. Tours at 9, 10:30 and 12. Contact Autumn Becker at (803)-480-3369 to reserve a space for yourself or make it a day out with friends and family. Limited space available, reserve today! $25 dollars per ticket. All proceeds go towards museum maintenance.

The Soldier Bishop: Ellison Capers, a special exhibit created by Faith Memorial Chapel, Cedar Mountain, NC, now on display at the Upcountry History Museum, presents the unshakable faith of Rt. Reverend Ellison Capers and how his fortitude created a lasting legacy.

The Museum offers "Lunch and Learns" for FREE each month. Sessions are at noon. Also, offering Home School Fridays at least once a month at 10 and 11 AM.

We are honored to host a student pursuing a Masters in Library Science in fulfilling his hours for a Practicum in cataloging our collection. Stayed tuned, we plan to post stories from his experiences.
Thank you to the local Graniteville Young Men and Young Women of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) for volunteering their Saturday morning to take care of several projects at Oakley Park Museum!
